An act that opens my vision to the WorldWideWeb

Last year, a friend showed me his blog; "Look what I did, I have a BLOG!" I've heard it before and even subscribed to a web space, named ysikprintshop. But it was short lived.

Blog, blog, why not give it a try. Then, I opened one as a new year’s agenda, ysikvideo. After several months of no updates, it didn't earn a sigh. I kept to myself, I have to know how to do simple HTML coding at least. I googled and found tons of link to read about… There are lot of resources offering me to help build my pages. Blogger, who host my blog pages, is accommodating and walked me though each steps. Steps that shaped my pages to look as I wanted. T’was very intuitive and FREE.

Robots and spiders came across… I kept thinking overnight. My brainwaves started spinning in a jargon box. How can I achieve that? To be listed in the major search engines... hoping that someday the spider can come to my page and bit me... or the robot can get mechanical on me so I’ll fully understand it’s working.

At first, I turned to add comments on other sites or blogs, just to post my link. Ya, it does appear for sometimes but not as I was expecting to be. What do I want? Search Engine Optimization, is this a must? This is what I ought to believe that optimize my pages to the web. Google, Blogger, Yahoo, Feedburner, Technorati, Del.icio.us, Nunavut Blogs, and everyone helping me, more power.

Soon to open.. in GooglePages

Eureka! ysikvideo is now searchable in common engines like Google, AOL, Altavista , HotBot, MSN Live, Excite, Clusty, A9, Search, Web Crawler, AlltheWeb, MetaCrawler, Starting Point, Scrub the Web, etc. In Yahoo index, we seemed to be on & off. Hoping this is for REAL. Thanks friend for showing me the way, I am proud of you.
